BPS: Economic Census Requires Rp400 Billion Friday, 12 May, 2006 | 16:03 WIB TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: The Central Statistics Bureau (BPS) will begin the economic census 2006 on Monday. A Rp400 billion fund is estimated for this. According to the Deputy of Economic Statistics Department at BPS, R. Pietojo, yesterday, the funds will be taken from the list of subject matter of the BPS budget implementation.

i'm getting a lot of enqiries at the moment relating to biofuels ... people wanting to set up plantations, oil processing plants, and the like ... but i'm not sure the economics are there yet: subsidised deisel is Rp4300 a litre, CPO is Rp6500 on the world market ... it doesn't add up, at least not yet.
