Smuggled textiles dominating in Jakarta’s retail market JAKARTA: Smuggled textiles and garments are dominating in Jakarta’s Tanah Abang and Mangga Dua retail market; sources said here on October 10. Illegally imported textiles and garments have been flooding the retail markets either through airports or seaports over the past three years. 30 percent have entered the country illegally out of 80 percent of textiles on sales in Tanah Abang retail market.

Govt says Exxon's Natuna D-Alpha contract has expired Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Exxon Mobil Corp's contract at the Natuna D-Alpha oil and gas block has expired, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro said. Yusgiantoro told reporters last night that this was because Exxon had not submitted to the regulator a plan for developing the block and selling the gas. "So the contract was automatically terminated," Yusgiantoro was quoted by XFN-Asia as saying.
