Zanotti introduces new collection

Italian women's shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti recently visited Indonesia and introduced his spring and summer 2006 collection, which was inspired by the footwear worn by rock stars in the 1960s and 1970s.

Zanotti's designs have specific characteristics, like high heels made of leather, linen, and chiffon in various colors, such as red, black and purple, sometimes with crystals attached.

"My shoes are specially designed for red carpet events. It's my speciality. I do not design sketchers," Zanotti told reporters at the Giuseppe Zanotti outlet in Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta, on Tuesday.

Priced from Rp 2 million to Rp 8 million a pair, Zanotti's shoes are only available in this outlet, which was officially opened in April.

Aside from shoes, Zanotti also designs colorful sandals and handbags for women.
