Young girls left at toll road gate

JAKARTA (JP): Three young girls who were left by a city bus driver at a toll gate at Taman Mini in East Jakarta were reunited with their parents safe and sound thanks to the help of private TPI television station.

TPI, in its broadcast on Monday night, announced that officers from the toll road company had found the three girls, and urged their parents to collect them.

The station reported that the girls, who took a joy ride on their way to the National Monument (Monas) in Central Jakarta, were told to get off the bus by the driver, who told them they had taken a wrong bus.

Duty officers on the toll road helped the girls and later asked TPI and some private radio stations to announce their finding, while appealing to the girls' parents to collect their daughters at the toll gate and take them home. (04)
