Young girl raped by 11-year boy

JAKARTA (JP): A distraught mother reported to the Bekasi
Police on Tuesday the rape of her seven-year-old daughter by an
11-year-old boy, the victim's neighbor and playmate.

Police officers who received the complaint said that Susmila,
40, a resident of Pondok Pucung, Bekasi, found it very difficult
to tell police that her daughter, NN, had been raped by RB.

The victim and suspect reportedly played together at school
and even in the victim's house, like normal children their age.
On Monday, Susmila was not at home.

"According to what NN told Susmila, RB took NN to a bedroom
and asked her to take off her panties... Before she could do
anything, RB inserted his penis inside her," a police source said
on Tuesday.

RB then allegedly warned NN not to tell anybody at school, or
all of her friends would laugh at her and ridicule her.

Susmila, however, suspected something was wrong with her
daughter when she saw her walking very slowly, as if she was in
pain.

"Susmila then persuaded her daughter to tell her what had
happened, and NN did," the source said. (ylt)
