Yamaha quits F1
TOKYO: Yamaha has quit Formula One racing after years without success.
The Arrows team, therefore, goes into the 1998 season, starting in Melbourne on March 8, with an all-new V10 engine carrying its own name tag.
Arrows and Ferrari are now the only constructors producing both the car and engine for F1 racing.
The new car, released on Tuesday, looks considerably different in its all-black colors and will be raced by Mika Salo and Pedro Diniz.
