'World Voice' concert at Ancol

JAKARTA (JP): Following its successful evening concert in
March, the Ikapari Country Music Association will stage the Voice
of the World music concert at the Ancol Art Market on May 12,
from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The concert, held in cooperation with the management of the
Ancol Recreation Center, will feature country, pop, blues, rock
and ethnic music categories presented by expatriates living in
Jakarta.

The performers are not professional musicians but are experts
in other fields, including hotel industry and teaching, as well
as foreign diplomats.

Among the performers are Ben Dowson and Sue Bonnington
(England), Toshiya Anzai (Japan), Pawan Kumar (India), Pierre
Joly (France), Gavin Fletcher (New Zealand), Vivi Spicer (Canada)
as well as Lynne Garett, Jesus Reyes, Time Warp, and Paul Barry
from the U.S.

They will be accompanied by the Ikapari Country Band. (lem)
