World Cup Cricket

A great majority of your readers must be English speaking expats from Commonwealth countries. With England, India, Pakistan, Australia and New Zealand participating in the current Cricket World Cup, the media in these countries are taking full advantage of the passions generated by the Cup by giving extensive coverage to the event. Indians and Pakistanis will happily stay up the whole night -- night after night -- to relish live cricket coverage.

Isn't it a great tragedy then that we find, at best, only a passing reference to the Cricket World Cup when we eagerly turn to the sports page of The Jakarta Post in the morning? Are the sports editors listening?
