World chefs meet in Bali
DENPASAR, Bali: As many as 165 food, beverage and executive chefs from all corners of the world attended the Hyatt International Food & Beverage meeting in Bali.
The public relations officer of Hotel Grand Hyatt Nusa Dua, Bali, Andisuari Dewi, told Antara in Denpasar yesterday the aim of the one-week meeting (Jan. 4-10) was to fix the Hyatt International agenda for the coming years.
In view of the planned development and expansion of Hyatt hotels until the year 2000, the meeting put emphasis on innovations needed to preserve the standard and existence of the Hyatt in the international tourist trade.
During their stay in Bali, participants not only engaged in discussions and exchanges of information and experience, but also observing Bali and its people, Andisuari Dewi said. (swe)
