Workshop on garments

JAKARTA (JP): Netherlands-based Center for the Promotion of
Imports from Developing Countries (CBI) in association with the
Indonesian Netherlands Association will hold a workshop on
garment export opportunity in the European Union markets.

The workshop, to be held here on Aug. 14 and Aug. 15, will
provide information needed by garment exporters, including basic
regulations, requirements, market segmentation and pricing
mechanism set by EU member countries.

CBI, which is a non-profit organization under the Dutch
Foreign Affairs Ministry, said the workshop was expected to
motivate Indonesian garment manufacturers to boost their exports
to Europe. (cst)
