Worker survives 11-storey fall

TYRE, Lebanon, (AFP): A construction worker fell 11 stories from a building in the Lebanese port city of Tyre and survived with a just broken foot yesterday.

"I was flying between the sky and the ground for several seconds. I thought I was dead and was then surprised to find myself surrounded by people on the ground," Imad Abdel Nabi, a 35-year-old Palestinian, told AFP.
