Worker killed, another injured

JAKARTA (JP): One worker was killed and another was seriously injured when they fell while working at an apartment project in West Jakarta.

The accident took place Friday night at the Taman Anggrek Mall project.

The number of casualties at the project since it was begun in 1995 is now 18. Most of them were killed.

Wasli, the dead worker, was said to have been new to the project.

The other unidentified worker suffered from burns, and is still undergoing intensive treatment.

The Taman Anggrek Mall's management could not be reached for comments. (02)
