Women's voices on poligamy
Previously, there was a gender issue: Muslim people rejected the idea of a female president. Now, we have another one: Women refuse to have a polygamous president.
The reason for this is because a president is concerned with his routine work and therefore will find it too much to take care of more than one wife. Besides this domestic problem, a polygamous president will face another problem: His wives will compete with one another to be the First Lady, which will, in turn, add to the state budget. In short, having a polygamous president will certainly do us more harm than good.
Given that we have more female voters in the next election and we have other, more strict requirements to become president, I think that we should adopt a direct election system to prevent the election of a candidate who has more than one wife, or who has embezzled public funds, or who is being hunted down by Interpol.
It is not easy to elect a good president, but the women in this country have at least made their voices heard.
