Women robbed of Rp 57 million

YOGYAKARTA: Two robbers got away with Rp 57 million on Wednesday after grabbing a bag containing the cash withdrawn from a bank by two women.

Depok Sleman Police substation chief Second Insp. Beja said the two women had just withdrawn the money from Lippo Bank on Jl. Sudirman.

The two women left the bank parking lot on a motorcycle.

They did not realize they were being followed until two men on a motorcycle fired warning shots and then grabbed the bag containing the money.

Police are still questioning the two women for further information.(lup)
