Wimbledon still attracts fans

The Wimbledon tennis championships -- initiated for the first time in 1877 under the name of the Lawn Tennis Championships -- have seen many surprises on the courts, including the ousting of seven-time men's singles winner Pete Sampras and flamboyant player Andre Agassi, both of the U.S. However, Wimbledon is still witnessing the battle between two siblings, Venus and Serena Williams, in the women's singles, despite people's apprehensions that the match would not be interesting. Matches have still gone on, despite delays caused by rain. Tennis fans have continued to enjoy the festivities of Wimbledon under their umbrellas and raincoats.
