Why keep debating the presidency?

We all -- Muslims, Christians, Hindus and Buddhists -- claim that we are religious people. We believe whatever happens in our life is God's will and God will also decide whatever happens in the future. But unfortunately some of us are trying very hard to make a decision as to who we want to be the next (fourth) president of the country. They forget that the Almighty's choice is final.

We must know that many forces have been at work in the past 32 years and have contributed to making our country suffer the current political and economic crisis.

Also we should remember that at the time God created this universe He ordered man and woman to conquer this world. Here God used the You (Adam and Eve). So it is clear that God gave His orders to both man and woman. And it is equally clear that man and woman are partners; neither of them is superior to the other.

Now is the time for all Indonesians to stop debating who deserves the presidency. Should it be a man, or a woman? Let's leave it to God's will.
