Who makes the rules?
I am an Indonesian housewife who has been shopping for about 10 years in Hero Kemang, South Jakarta. I was extremely annoyed to learn that bajaj are no longer allowed to enter the Hero Kemang parking lot, reportedly at the request of a "foreign customer".
In my opinion this is not fair, as such a policy should be decided on by the authorities. It should be noted by all involved that bajaj have existed in Jakarta for decades. They are a convenient form of public transportation, especially given that they can access even the smallest of lanes.
I would suggest to the management of Hero Kemang that they consider who their customers are, and remember that customers have the choice to shop elsewhere if they feel dissatisfied.
