Who is representing akistan at ARF?

AKARTA: The organizers of the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) seem to
be confused about who is representing Pakistan at the forum. The
same could also be said about the Pakistani Embassy in Jakarta.
Both have changed the name of Pakistan's delegate three times.

Islamabad had been prepared to send Foreign Minister Kurshid
M. Kasuri to Friday's 11th ARF meeting in Jakarta. But last
Saturday, Pakistani Prime Minister Zafrullah Khan resigned and
the Cabinet was dissolved.

In the absence of a foreign minister, Islamabad decided to
send foreign secretary Riaz Khokhar to the meeting.

However, that plan was scratched because of the formation of a
new Cabinet in Pakistan. In the end, Kasuri retained his old post
and will be arriving in Jakarta on Thursday. -- JP
