Where Are You?
I took you for granted
And suddenly you went away,
Swept by the wind
In one cold afternoon
Like a leaf in the fall
Without saying good-bye.
Just disappeared
Through the tunnel of faith.
How could I ever deny
That you meant so much to me?
You left me here alone
Frozen, numb, and dumb
Wondering through a chilly window
Hoping to see your familiar face
Among those people
That roam the street.
Tell me in which part of this world
I can meet you
Since no distance is too far
And no place is too remote.
For I will fly to you
Without my wings
That you took away with you
On the day you left.
