We Are Only Words

Please give us a meaning because we are only words

Please give us a meaning because we were blown from the mouths of demonstrators and crashed into the stone heads of power holders We have also been made part of slogans which sound like advertisements for herbal medicine

Who are we? We are only words

Please give a meaning Because we don't want to be just the lead of afternoon news items which are forgotten by drowsy TV viewers or become part of the young people's dreams aspiring for a just and prosperous society as stipulated by the preamble of the Constitution

We're just words but we also need a soul

So far we are just the envelope of political talk shows and discussions which will generate no change because the speakers are seasonal observers who suddenly become reform promoters afterwards, they only treat us as stale food

We want to wash with the holy words of prophets which once tore down old empires changed man's mentality and became powerful formulas of early preachers who were free from confusing thoughts and had the power to rule the waves dignify conscience They were also a spring of wisdom which fortified their children in the fight against evil powers

Because words are lights of human dignity and manifestations of will So, please enforce us with wisdom and action Or one day we will bury you

We are words Please give us meaning
