Water bills to be payable through ATMs

JAKARTA: Starting Dec. 18, customers of PT Thames PAM Jaya (TPJ) will be able to pay their bills through Bank Central Asia ATMs.

The new service was confirmed following the signing of a cooperation between the two companies recently, according to Director of Communication and Public Relations of TPJ, Rhamses Simanjuntak.

TPJ, which has a 25-year contract with the city-owned water company PAM Jaya, serves 324,073 customers here.

It has three water treatment installations and produces 9,050 liters of water per second. --JP
