Wait and see for island prisoners

CILACAP, Central Java: Nusakambangan Island penitentiary head, Soepardi, said he does not expect the 10 political prisoners on the island to be released anytime soon.

Soepardi told The Jakarta Post yesterday that those serving time on the island have been charged with "pretty heavy crimes", such as being involved in an armed rebellion in Lampung.
