W. Nusa Tenggara wins school games

JAKARTA (JP): Host West Nusa Tenggara emerged as the overall winner in the Arafura School Games which concluded on Tuesday evening.

The team collected 19 gold, 10 silver and 12 bronze medals after four days of competition which brought together 456 students from 10 provinces and Australia's Northern Territory. The hosts wrested the Minister of Education and Culture Trophy from defending champions South Sulawesi, who finished fifth.

The Northern Territory came second with 15 golds, seven silvers and seven bronzes, followed by Bali who won 12 golds, eight silvers and four bronzes, Antara reported. (amd)
