VW chases Rolls-Royce

MUNICH: Contenders in the sale of Rolls-Royce continue to pop up.

Now, Volkswagen AG has joined the hunt.

"I can confirm that we are interested in principle," a VW spokesman said.

VW joins BMW, Ford Motor Corp, Daimler-Benz AG, Fiat and Toyota Motor Co in wanting to get their hands on the pukka Brit.
