Visa hurdles

I am a British citizen married to a Indonesian lady. We have
been married seven years, and own our own home in Indonesia.
Shortly I will be retiring and wish to spend the rest of my days
in your beautiful country.

Having done some research on visas, I find that the amount of
red tape and hurdles I have to overcome to be so onerous that I
may opt for a different retirement home.
