Visa card access to ATM

JAKARTA (JP): Bank Internasional Indonesia (BII) announced on Saturday its joint cooperation with Visa International, to open access for Visa/Plus card holders to its automated teller machine (ATM) network.

Through this cooperation, Visa/Plus card holders worldwide, totaling 530 million, have access to BII's 50 ATMs in Jakarta.

"BII is the first Indonesian bank to open up its ATM network, joining 250,000 automated tellers in 88 countries, for access to Visa/Plus card holders," the bank said in its announcement made available to The Jakarta Post.

Besides BII, six other Indonesian banks -- Bank Duta, BCA, Bank Niaga, Bank Bali, Bank Danamon, Lippo Bank -- have also issued Visa/Plus cards. (kod)
