Violence on TV

From Republika

The ulemas and educators are blaming moral erosion in the community on the violent films on TV. Almost every film shown on private TV entertains its viewers with atrocious scenes and gradually the violence influences viewer behavior.

It's true that mature thinking will help filter the negative effect of the films. But not all viewers can resist negative stimulants. Private televisions should feel a moral obligation to educate the people.
