Vice president to inaugurate hospital

JAKARTA: Vice President Hamzah Haz is scheduled to inaugurate the Siloam Gleneagles Hospital in Lippo Cikarang, Bekasi, on Wednesday.

The Rp 200 billion hospital was built by Siloam Health Care and PT Nusa Medika Perkasa, a consortium of several companies and individuals, including former coordinating minister of the economy Radius Prawiro and former national shuttler Ferry Soneville.

The hospital, which had a soft opening on May 15, has 320 beds and is served by 120 medical specialists, including general surgeons, urologists, orthopedists, vascular surgeons, cardiologists, gynecologists, dermatologists, dentists and optometrists.

This is the second Siloam Gleneagles Hospital in the city, with the other one located in Lippo Karawaci, Tangerang.--JP
