Vehicle documentation made easier

TANGERANG: Vehicle owners can now benefit from an improved document processing service at Tangerang regency vehicle document office, as promised by head of the office Adj. Comr. Sutimin, on Tuesday.

"The office is making some changes to improve our service to taxpayers to fulfill their demands for faster and improved services," he said.

Vehicle owners will need only 30 minutes to complete their vehicle registration documents, while to extend their validity only an hour is needed, excluding the vehicle checking process.

"Each taxpayer need only hand over the required documentation on their vehicle and sit and wait, until the process is finished. It's simple and easy," he said.

The office now has 23 police officers, six civil servants, 40 officers from the regency revenue agency and several staff from the regency administration. Each day they can process the documentation for about 950 vehicles. -- JP
