Utut still in second place

JAKARTA (JP): Indonesian Grandmaster Utut Adianto is still in
second place in the Grandmasters Championship in Calicut, India
on Thursday.

Utut defeated International Master Ravi Lanka of India in the
48th move of the Dutch opening. The match lasted five hours 20
minutes. With this victory, Utut recorded 5 points together with
IM Ziaur Rachman, also of India. Ziaur won over GM Komliakov of
Russia.

Indian Abhijit Kunte still leads the rangkings with 5.5
points. He defeated GM Yurtaev, another Russian. (lnt)
