USU to open new programs

MEDAN, North Sumatra: The University of North Sumatra (USU) plans to offer several new programs in the near future.

"The university will offer two new study programs for stratum one (bachelor of arts), three new study programs for stratum two (master's) and two study programs for stratum three (doctorate)," said university rector Chairuddin P. Lubis.

He said the university currently had about 120 study programs.

The rector said he hoped the new programs would help improve the quality of education offered by the university. --Antara
