U.S. ignores human rights?
I think the government of the United States should take a closer look at the "hot item" they espouse regarding human rights.
I have a case in point that I am questioning the violation of human rights: myself and daughter.
I filed for our Social Security Benefits over 16 months ago, and up to date not even Senators Bob Dole or Kay Hutchinson have succeeded in getting the director, Joseph Muffoleth in Baltimore, to respond in kind.
I was given a final notice in March that I had 45 days to furnish a birth certificate. In lieu of certificate on their form letter #SSA L401.A FC an old passport, visa or military records will do.
I have yet to receive a letter officially signed by Joseph Muffoleth.
If our president can intervene for a convicted vandal in Singapore to get his strokes of the rattan reduced, then I ask why can't he help me and my daughter get what I have worked for all my life.
I will be reminded come election time of the Palestine-Israel peace accord, lobby efforts of private businesses and the human rights lobby in Asia, Panama and Haiti. But what about others like my self, human rights regarding earned benefits over 50 years completely ignored.
I am certain through information that my case is not unique with the SSA in the states.
