U.S. govt opens American Corner
YOGYAKARTA: The American Embassy opened on Wednesday an "American
Corner" in the library of Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in
Bulaksumur.
It provides access to current information about the United
States through books, magazines, the Internet, CD-ROMs, DVDs and
an online database.
It is open to the public six days a week from 9 a.m to 4 p.m,
except on public holidays.
The first American Corner was opened in Russia in October
