U.S. govt opens American Corner

YOGYAKARTA: The American Embassy opened on Wednesday an "American Corner" in the library of Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in Bulaksumur.

It provides access to current information about the United States through books, magazines, the Internet, CD-ROMs, DVDs and an online database.

It is open to the public six days a week from 9 a.m to 4 p.m, except on public holidays.
