U.S. envoy to visit Sulawesi

JAKARTA: United States Ambassador to Indonesia Ralph L. Boyce is to visit South Sulawesi next week to hold talks with local government officials and community figures.

During his visit from Monday through Thursday, Boyce will also tour several projects being funded by the U.S. and cultural sites in the province, Antara reported quoting a U.S. Embassy statement released on Friday.

Boyce is scheduled to meet Governor HZB Palaguna, non- governmental organization activists, academics and religious leaders.

The ambassador has also arranged a trip to Parepare, where he will visit a U.S.-owned cacao processing factory and a USAID- assisted technical project. -- Antara
