University to take more students

PALANGKA RAYA, Central Kalimantan: Palangka Raya University, the biggest and oldest university in the province, has allocated some 1,945 places for new student admissions for the coming school year.

The deputy head of the state-run university, Kalvin Anggen, said the new students would be screened through the National Exam for University Entrance (UMPTN), or the Search on Potential Students Scheme (PSB).

"The university provides 660 seats that are distributed through 18 study programs for students who are selected through UMPTN," he said.

"Another 1,285 places will be allocated to students selected through PSB," Kalvin told Antara.
