Unicef staffer robbed in Bandung

BANDUNG: An on-duty staff member of the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef) was robbed here on Saturday morning, Antara said.

Two robbers took away the personal belongings of the Unicef staff member, who was only identified as Philippe by the news agency, as he was about to park at Sangkuriang Hotel on Jl. Cisitu.

Philippe's motorcycle was also stolen, the news agency said.

Philippe, who was in the city to set up a free dinner for street children, was quoted as saying by the news agency that he only bought his motorcycle, a Honda Tiger 200cc, two days before. (byg)
