UNDP medal

I am envious of Indonesians for having President Soeharto,
especially at a time when the leaders of my country (India) and
my neighboring country are boasting of having nuclear
capabilities, while the poor village women on either side of the
border walk kilometers to fetch head-loads of water. No doubt our
leaders work very hard getting Nobel prizes for peace by
continuously developing gutters and adding to the poorest of the
poor.

Congratulations to President Soeharto and Indonesia on the
UNDP medal for reducing the number of poor people in the country.
