UNDP assists three cities
MATARAM, West Nusa Tenggara: The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) will this fiscal year provide US$800 million in assistance for urban development in three Indonesian cities.
"The three cities are Kendari in Southeast Sulawesi, Bandar Lampung in Lampung, and Mataram in West Nusa Tenggara," the UNDP assistant manager for Indonesia, Lulu Mahamad, said here on Tuesday.
She said the assistance would be in the form of cash, training and consultancy.
"If this succeeds, the UNDP will give similar assistance to 20 other cities in the country," she added.
