BANYUMAS, Central Java: Local women who support the United
Development Party are staunchly against corruption.

They held a glad-handing campaign in the town's main streets
yesterday, offering passers-by tea, water and refreshments.

The main attraction of their campaign was a sign on their
table which said: "From the star (PPP symbol) to the stars...
Guaranteed halal (religiously clean), not the result of
corruption." (wah)
