Uncertain promise

On behalf of my father, who is a member of Veteran corps, I
would like to inform you that after about three years since we
got the Veteran's certificate, we haven't received the
compensation money yet, that has been promised to us.

As veterans living in Manggis, Kaliloka, Sirampog sub-
district, Brebes, Central Java, we hope that the promise would be
fulfilled soon.

My parent has spent a lot of money (about one million rupiah)
to get things related to this veteran matter done. We are not so
well off and live in the village. So we need the money badly.

But year in year out, until August as we are celebrating the
52nd anniversary of Indonesia's independence the money promised
has not been delivered.

I think it's necessary for us to talk this problem over rather
than keep waiting for the uncertain promise to be realized.
