Uncertain conditions

Demands of reforms start from an awareness of distortions that cannot be tolerated any longer. The aspirations are for social justice for all people in this country.

We are now faced with dengue fever. We also have other diseases, like the conglomeration of businesses, exploitation of natural resources, miscarriages of justice and permissiveness. All this needs a commitment of concern from all sides in order to solve the problems.

It is very surprising that in the current condition we still want to select which sectors need to be reformed, while giving special consideration to certain group interests.

The handling of this crisis should be gradual, in stages and constitutionally. But, how can the concepts jointly agreed upon be realized if from day to day some of the people entrusted with the realization have extra jobs that do not support the implementation of the mandate from the people? They may even form obstacles.

I hope that the reformers will continue to struggle for the sake of the country's development and credibility, although there is no order or blessings from antireform sides. Do not leave this nation in uncertainty.
