JAKARTA: Peter Piot, the executive director of the Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS, or UNAIDS, is scheduled to visit Indonesia to help mark World's AIDS Day on Dec. 1.
On his second visit to the country, Poit is slated to meet with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and several Cabinet members, as well as public figures and people living with AIDS.
Poit is also expected to travel to Bandung and Karawang, both in West Java, to review efforts to curb the spread of HIV/AIDS.
