Umi Kalsum wins Mother contest

Hajjah Umi Kalsum from Pasar Minggu has been selected as Model Mother of South Jakarta over 18 other competitors.

The second place winner of the contest, which was held here on Tuesday evening, is Hajjah Endang Sumaroh from Kebayoran Lama. Third place was taken by Hajjah Zalika Syamsulbahar from Setyabudi sub-district.

South Jakarta Mayor H. Pardjoko said after presenting trophies to the winning mothers yesterday that the first and second winners place will represent South Jakarta in the All Jakarta Model Mother competition in September. (tis)
