UK trade mission visits RI

JAKARTA (JP): A major British delegation from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) began a week-long visit to Indonesia on Monday to seek new business opportunities in the country.

The British embassy said in a statement that the 10 companies taking part in the mission would meet representatives of trade and economic bodies such as the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) and the National Business Development Council as well as the government's senior officials during the visit.

The group is led by Peter Godwin, a banker with over 40 years of experience, who advises the British government on trade and investment issues in the region.(hen)
