JAKARTA (JP): PT Kawasan Industri Makassar (Kima) is inviting
foreign and domestic investors to set up industrial plants in its
industrial estate in Ujungpandang, South Sulawesi.

"We have an unoccupied area of 50 hectares in our industrial
estate," Kima's president, Muis Bakidu, said in Ujungpandang
yesterday.

Muis was quoted by Antara as telling an annual meeting of the
Bugis-Makassar Businessmen that 70 foreign and domestic
industrial companies are now operating in the industrial estate,
which has been equipped with electricity, telecommunication lines
and water supply.

The estate is also linked with Makassar port in Ujungpandang
with a toll road.

Muis said Malaysian investors have shown enthusiasm to invest
in the estate in cooperation with local partners. (10)
