UI students to hold French contest
JAKARTA: The Association of French Literature Diploma Students at the University of Indonesia will hold a French language competition from April 19 to April 21.
In a press release made available on Tuesday, the organizers said that the theme of the competition would be renaissance, which symbolized that the contest promoting the second most popular international language would be held again after a 10- year hiatus.
The four-day-event would consist of various contests, including a poetry contest and a question-and-answer contest for students aged between 19 and 23, as well as an opera performance and a French food display.
Registration of participants started on March 25 and continues through April 16. -- JP
