Two workers killed in trench collapse

Two men working on a project for tap water company PDAM in the West Java capital of Bandung were killed on Friday. The bodies of Apit, 19, and Rohit, 27, were recovered one hour after the walls of the trench they were digging collapsed on them at about 6:30 p.m.

Two other workers survived the accident while digging on a pipeline installation project at the Cikapayang crossroads in Dago. Another worker, Emuh, 46, who saw the accident, said the victims were trying to install a pipe at a depth of four meters when the collapse occurred.
