Two men overdose in public toilet

JAKARTA: Two men allegedly died of drug overdoses in the
public toilets of a department store on Tuesday, in separate
incidents.

At about 1 p.m., the janitor of the Ramayana department store
in Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Ade Supriyadi, found a man
unconscious in one of the cubicles. He was identified as DH, 26,
a resident of Bojong Gede, Bogor.

After calling the police, DH was taken to the Cipto
Mangunkusumo General Hospital in Central Jakarta. He died three
hours later.

At about 6:30 p.m., Ade became suspicious when a man did not
exit from the toilet after 30 minutes.

The police came again and said that the man, identified as AH,
21, resident of Tanah Sereal, Bogor, was already dead. His body
was taken to the Cipto Hospital for autopsy.

"We suspected both had taken a drug overdose, because we found
syringes still in their arms," Jatinegara Police chief Comr.
