Two men nabbed in marijuana case

TANGERANG (JP): Police arrested on Thursday evening two men that were carrying out a drugs transaction at the house of one of them in the Petir subdistrict of Cipondoh, Tangerang.

Tangerang Police detectives deputy chief. Insp. Kustanto said the suspects were Sahid, 40 and Mahdi, 28, residents of Jl. KH. Achmad Dahlan, Petir subdistrict, Cipondoh.

Kustanto said police had earlier received complaints from one of their neighbors, who told them that Sahid sold marijuana.

"While police kept watch on the house on Thursday afternoon, we saw a young man entering it after looking around suspiciously," he said.

He said minutes after the young man, identified as Mahdi, entered the house, police raided it and caught Mahdi red-handed holding two packets containing two grams of marijuana.

He said that police found a total of 3 kilograms of marijuana in the house, ready for sale.
