Two killed in bus collision

PURWOKWERTO, Central Java: Two people were killed and dozens
of others injured in a traffic accident on Sunday in the Banyumas
regency.

A passenger bus from Surabaya, East Java, en route to
Tasikmalaya in West Java, collided head-on with a truck while
attempting to overtake a minibus.

Bus driver Sujadi and his assistant Suyatno were killed
instantly. The other victims of the accident, which took place in
the vicinity of Kedungrandu Village, are now being treated at the
Margono Soekardjo Hospital in Purwokerto, Antara reported. (rms)
